"Wielki powrót Duran Duran" - tak brzmiał nagłówek jednej z recenzji tej płyty. To z niej pochodzą największe przeboje Duran Duran z lat 90. "Ordinary World" oraz "Come undone". Sama płyta nie ma tytułu, podobnie jak na pierwszej (z 1981 roku) widnieje jedynie na niej napis "Duran Duran". Potoczna jej nazwa "The wedding album" wzięła się od reprodukcji na okładce zdjęć ślubnych rodziców członków Duran Duran. Czasami płytę można spotkać opisaną jako "Duran Duran 2".

Skład Duran Duran: Nick Rhodes, Simon Le Bon, John Taylor, Warren Cuccurullo.

Pierwsza to płyta "Duran Duran (The wedding albyum)", zaś druga zawiera trzy niepublikowane utwory z tej sesji nagraniowej oraz trzy remiksy tytułowych piosenek singli wydanych z tej płyty (wyjątkiem jest "Ordinary world", której zamieszczono wersję akustyczną - ciekawostką jest, że utwór ten nigdy nie doczekał się oficjalnego remiksu. Płyty wydane w kartonikowym pudełku tzw. CD Set., druga płyta posiada osobną książeczkę.

Japońskie wydanie "Duran Duran (The wedding album") tradycyjnie zostało wzbogacone - tym razem o dwa niepublikowane wcześniej utwory pochodzące z tej sesji nagraniowej: "Time for temptation" i "Stop dead". Ciekawostką jest książeczka, w której oprócz dodania kilku stron, zmieniono kolejność w tekstach piosenek: "Femme Fatale" i "None of the above" choć na płycie ich kolejność jest taka samam jak w wydaniach z innych krajów. Do wydawnictwa dodano czarno-białą wkładkę z japońskim tłumaczeniem tekstów.
Wersja promo nie różni się niczym od wersji dostępnej w japońskich sklepach.
