Pierwsza płyta w historii Duran Duran wydana poza wytwórnią EMI (grupa rozstała się z nią po konflikcie w 1999 roku). Niestety mała wytwórnia nie poradziła sobie z ogromem pracy nad promocją płyty, co skazało jej sprzedaż na wielkie niepowodzenie. Dystrybucją i promocją płyty zajęła się niemiecka firma Edel GmbH. Duran Duran wkrótce rozstało się wkrótce i z tą wytwórnią.
Ciekawostką jest historia utworu "Pop trash movie", którą Nick Rhodes i Warren Cuccurullo napisali dla powracającej wówczas po latach na muzyczną scenę wokalistki Blondie. Utwór ten jednak został przez nią i wytwórnię płytową odrzucony.
